The Role

Eudia Counsel provides managed privacy operations support to a leading global technology company, delivering hands-on operational support across a broad range of privacy requests.

As a Privacy Consultant, you will be part of this execution-focused team, resolving complex privacy cases, ensuring regulatory compliance and meeting agreed service levels. This role suits someone who enjoys practical, high-volume case handling and brings sound judgement to every request.

 

What You'll Do

• Manage and resolve a high volume of privacy requests across multiple operational workstreams
• Process Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests, including deletion, access, rectification, portability and Right to Be Forgotten (RTBF) requests
• Handle regulatory privacy matters, DPO enquiries, business privacy requests and other complex operational privacy cases in line with legal and compliance requirements
• Deliver high-quality case resolution within agreed service level agreements (SLAs), with a current target turnaround of one week
• Exercise sound judgement by escalating technically complex or ambiguous cases where appropriate, prioritising accuracy and compliance over speed
• Use Transcend (or a comparable DSR automation platform) to manage requests, complete identity verification and maintain accurate compliance records
• Identify recurring issues and operational trends to support continuous process improvement
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) and peer review activities

 

Key Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a hands-on privacy operations role, managing high volumes of DSR requests rather than focusing solely on privacy policy, governance or advisory work
• Proven experience handling deletion, access, rectification, portability, RTBF and other privacy rights requests under GDPR or similar privacy legislation
• Experience managing DPO enquiries, regulatory privacy matters or complex privacy cases requiring sound judgement and appropriate escalation
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR gained through practical operational case handling
• Ability to make informed decisions independently while recognising when to escalate more complex issues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven operational environment with defined SLAs

 

Qualifications

Preferred experience:

• Experience using Transcend or a comparable privacy request automation platform
• Exposure to a broad range of privacy request types, including business privacy requests, regulatory matters and more sensitive or complex cases
• Experience supporting privacy operations within a technology company, managed services environment or other high-volume operational setting
