Construction Manager (Bauleiter)

The Role
We are looking for a Construction Manager to support the ongoing expansion of our network in Berlin and Hamburg. euNetworks stands for the highest quality in delivering customer solutions, and you will play a key role in maintaining this standard.

Within our Fibre team, you will be involved in the entire delivery process—from fibre planning (OSP/ISP) through network build to the final point-to-point connection. As a Construction Manager, you will take on the responsible task of planning, coordinating, and supervising all civil works and installation activities related to ducts and fibre optic cables.

What challenges can you expect?

• Project management: Independent control of new build and upgrade projects

• Cost control: Monitoring budgets and actively managing costs

• Network expansion: Driving fibre rollouts, including network extensions and overbuild of existing infrastructure

• Route planning: Surveying, planning, and technically configuring new duct and fibre routes

• Documentation: Recording and maintaining all construction projects in our GIS systems

• Relocation works (Lift & Shift): Full ownership from application through construction supervision to final acceptance of installed ducts and cables

• Regulatory coordination: Participation in coordination meetings and close collaboration with city authorities and municipalities

• Contractor management: Managing external contractors (subcontractors) and acting as a point of contact for relevant authorities

• Project preparation: Creating feasibility studies for future construction projects

• Health & Safety (H&S): Conducting site and contractor audits to ensure compliance with legal safety regulations

• Quality assurance: Continuous quality control and follow-up across all ongoing projects

• Target achievement: Tracking and delivering personal and team KPIs in line with company standards

What you should bring

• Experience with regulations and standards in the telecommunications sector

• Field experience

• Skills in managing contractors and customer relationships

• Knowledge of fibre optic standards and testing/measurement methods

• Understanding of GIS functionality

• Several years of experience in diverse fibre installations (outside plant and in-building)

• Strong interpersonal skills when working with external contractors

• Strong team collaboration skills with colleagues and internal stakeholders

• Understanding of operational metrics and reporting requirements

• Ability to manage end-to-end customer installation projects

• Understanding of planning requirements for OSP/ISP ducting and cable routing for customer connections

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English

• Valid Category B driving licence and a clean criminal record
