Critically, you will own the design and delivery of dashboards and reporting tools that give Finance leadership and cross-functional partners real-time access to cost, margin, and forecasting data.

This is a high-impact role where you won’t just “track the budget”— you will actively shape how we price our products, where we deploy capital, and how the Finance team operates with data. Whether you are analyzing the gross margin impact of a new AI feature, or building a dashboard that surfaces cost anomalies in real time, your insights and tools will directly influence leadership.

  • Identify and size optimization opportunities; drive accountability on cost reduction initiatives with clear ROI framing
  • Build dashboards and alerting so cost anomalies surface in real time, not at month-end
  • Finance Analytics & Dashboards
  • Design and build dashboards and alerting systems so cost anomalies, margin shifts, and forecasting variances surface in real time, not at month-end
  • Own the Finance team’s analytics stack: evaluate, implement, and maintain BI/reporting tools (e.g., Omni, Snowflake MCP with Claude, or custom solutions)
  • Create self-serve reporting for to reduce ad hoc data requests and improve decision speed
  • Develop and maintain data models that connect infrastructure costs, product usage, revenue, and headcount into a unified analytical layer
  • Cross-Functional Initiatives
  • Support board and investor reporting with unit economics narratives
  • Support contribution margin analysis and CAC payback by segment and cohort
  • Lead the annual and quarterly planning processes for Product and Engineering, ensuring headcount and discretionary spend are directed toward the highest-impact initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience, including 2+ years in strategic finance and analytics, with prior experience in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and/or investment banking.
  • Direct experience with Product Finance, specifically modeling COGS, gross margins, and/or cloud infrastructure costs at a SaaS company with subscription and/or usage-based business models. Familiarity with AI model/LLM token costs and cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pricing analysis or business model transformation (e.g., moving from seats to usage-based pricing).
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch and drive actionable recommendations. You take pride in tackling complex business problems with analytical rigor and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with financial modeling and analytics tools, including Excel, SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Omni, Looker). Experience with Python, dbt, data pipelines, or analytics engineering workflows. Experience with FP&A software is a plus.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong business instincts who can explain financial trade-offs to highly technical engineering and product leaders, build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, and is not hesitant to voice a point of view.
  • Ability to operate at multiple altitudes: manage through ambiguity, execute projects end-to-end, effectively prioritize, and balance progress with perfection. High degree of empathy and tact required to manage departmental budgets and resource allocation across sensitive corporate functions.
  • You maintain the highest ethical standards, integrity, and credibility, and demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
