Key Responsibilities
- Benchmark AI agents using structured evaluation metrics (accuracy, task success rate, hallucination rate, latency, and cost).
- Design simulation scenarios to test agent behavior across realistic workflows and edge cases.
- Run iterative experiments to improve prompts, tool usage, and grounding strategies.
- Quantify improvements in agent quality, reliability, and development cycle time.
- Present data-driven findings showing how evaluation and simulation accelerate agent maturity and engineering velocity.
- Identify high-friction internal workflows (documentation lookup, ticket triage, data queries, deployment support).
- Build AI agents (e.g., in Microsoft Copilot Studio) integrated with internal systems.
- Develop custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors to securely expose structured enterprise data to AI agents.
- Measure impact through before/after productivity analysis (time saved, response speed, workflow improvements).
- Deliver and demo a working prototype that reduces manual effort and improves outcomes.

- Internal: Jira, Slack, GitHub, team documentation, AWS, internal APIs, Cursor, Prism/Synthia, SDO framework, GoCode
- External: Microsoft Copilot Studio, MCP frameworks, agent/LLM evaluation tools and industry research

Program Details

- Where: Kirkland, WA (in-office)
- Weekly Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $18.00/hour (no benefits/PTO, sick leave per WA laws)

Additional Information
Selected applicants will be required to complete a HackerRank coding challenge. Applicants who pass the challenge and meet other trainee requirements will be invited to a subsequent round of in-person interviews to determine final program selections.
This is primarily an in-office position with occasional remote opportunities, and therefore you must live within commuting distance from the Kirkland, WA office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day, and will be expected to work in-office throughout the program duration. Selected participants will be assigned to work up to 8 hours per day in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
