Projects may include AI orchestrators that manage test suites and catch bugs earlier, analytics engines that detect anomalies and performance patterns, and agents that support on-call workflows and generate insights from sprint and operational data. The goal is to reduce time spent on manual triage and analysis so engineers can focus on higher-leverage work.
Key Responsibilities
- Design agent-driven solutions that automate engineering workflows (testing, metrics, triage, support).
- Build analytics or monitoring capabilities that surface actionable signals (anomalies, performance trends).
- Create orchestration logic that connects tools/data sources to produce reliable outcomes.
- Validate impact by reducing repetitive effort and improving speed/quality of engineering execution.
- Document approaches and share learnings to support adoption across teams.
Tools
As applicable based on project scope; typically internal engineering systems, collaboration tools, and AI/dev tooling.
Skills/Focus
Agentic systems, software engineering automation, observability/analytics, workflow orchestration, real-world reliability.

Program Details
- Application Dates: March 27, 2026 – April 10, 2026
- Program Dates: June 30, 2026 – September 3, 2026
- Where: Kirkland, WA (in-office)
- Weekly Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $18.00/hour (no benefits/PTO, sick leave per WA laws)

Additional Information
Selected applicants will be required to complete a HackerRank coding challenge. Applicants who pass the challenge and meet other trainee requirements will be invited to a subsequent round of in-person interviews to determine final program selections.
This is primarily an in-office position with occasional remote opportunities, and therefore you must live within commuting distance from the Kirkland, WA office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day, and will be expected to work in-office throughout the program duration. Selected participants will be assigned to work up to 8 hours per day in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
