Position Summary
The Managing Editor of Market Intelligence is responsible for authoring publications and special reports as well as editing content across the Ever.Ag market intelligence unit. The role strives to provide insightful and easy to consume commentary to clients across the industry under strict deadlines. In addition, the Managing Editor or Market Intelligence will develop and lead team members generating content for the Ever.Ag publication suite.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and oversee a team of writers

Write existing regular cadence publications

Contribute guiding thoughts and perspective

Author, assemble and polish final deliverables

Edit content generated by others
-
Ensure proper distribution to clients

Research and prepare daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Work with cross function team members to gather information and market intel to prepare reports

Distill detailed analysis into easy-to-understand content and layouts
-
Provide ghost writing for key clients
-
Create written material for newsletter, presentations and video content
-
Support marketing efforts and contribute to direct-to-client newsletters as necessary

Collect and distill information from client conference calls and deliver highlights and learnings to team members

Present findings and results in compelling ways to report

Line editing

Proofread all material prior to distribution

Make necessary refinement and updates to publications, client projects, consulting work, etc.

Train employees to meet company publications and writing standards

Provide market and industry training and guidance
-
Review created employee content and provide guidance and feedback

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
-
A minimum of 3 years editorial experience
-
Ability to independently define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw appropriate conclusions

Proven track record of navigating multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Ability to assess market data and trends
-
Experience with marketing automation solutions and tools

Knowledge of CRM tools and processes
-
Layout and design skills with experience using PowerPoint, Publisher, Photoshop or InDesign and other technologies

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
