Position Summary:  

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join the team and help build our next generation of student transportation capabilities. In this role, you will own and manage a product line focusing on the development and enhancement of routing solutions for school transportation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a scalable and secure product. You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our school transportation routing products, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness in managing student transportation needs. Position is hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days WFH. 

Salary Range: $135,000-150,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential 

Location -  Greenwood Village, CO.  Hybrid role - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products that improve routing efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and enhance the overall safety of school transportation operations. 
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our school transportation routing solutions. 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 
  • Leverage data analytics and optimization algorithms to continuously improve routing algorithms. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, design, and operations, to define and prioritize features in the product roadmap. 
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain a detailed roadmap that aligns with actionable outcomes, company goals, and customer requirements. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including school administrators, transportation coordinators, and internal operations teams, to understand their needs and challenges. 
  • Translate user feedback and requirements into actionable product features and enhancements. 
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. 
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and key performance metrics to internal teams and stakeholders. 
  • As a part of normal business operations, employees in this role may access and/or modify electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) in a manner compliant with requirements set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on transportation, routing, or logistics solutions 
  • Proven record of accomplishment in delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset  
  • Established background in launching software or managed service in partnership with engineering and stakeholder teams.  
  • Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time monitoring, workflow pipelines, etc.  
  • Experience in the education sector or with school transportation systems is a plus.  
  • Familiarity with routing algorithms, GIS, and optimization techniques is highly desirable 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a customer-first focus and experience with transportation, routing, or logistics solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, influence and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. 
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
