Position Summary:  

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-centric Vice President of Product Management to drive the evolution of our next-generation student transportation software applications. In this role, you will own the product strategy, inspire a high-performing team, and foster innovation to deliver impactful and scalable solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across the organization and influence decision-making at the highest levels, ensuring alignment with our mission and business objectives.

As the Vice President of Product Management, you will have full ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch and beyond. This leadership role entails developing and executing the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our company's objectives. You will report directly to a C-level executive, collaborating closely to drive product innovation and success.

Location:  Greenwood Village, CO.  This is a hybrid position - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership Acumen

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product team by defining and implementing consistent approaches and ways of working, driving clarity and velocity across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and iteration, utilizing A/B testing, customer feedback loops, and performance metrics to continuously optimize products and processes.

Customer-Centric, Strategic Product Thinking

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, ensuring product and market fit.
  • Drive the development of a complete product experience, managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
  • Balance immediate objectives with long-term strategic goals to ensure sustainable growth and product relevance.

Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Craft and execute global product strategies that fuel business growth and market expansion.
  • Leverage analytics and key performance indicators to inform product decisions, track performance, and measure success effectively.

Stakeholder Alignment and Communication

  • Own and articulate a compelling product roadmap strategy, communicating effectively with C-level executives, board members, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and fostering alignment across diverse perspectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Ways of Working

  • Partner with research, design, and development teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments including sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and senior leadership.
  • Establish and enforce cadence, processes, and expectations that enable teams to deliver efficiently and effectively.
  • Leverage storytelling skills to articulate product vision and strategy at the right level of detail for various audiences within the organization.

Design & UX Experience

  • Build and enhance products with a strong emphasis on UX functionality and intuitive design.
  • Collaborate closely with UX teams to develop or refine design systems and languages, ensuring a cohesive and delightful product experience.

Requirements:

  • Visionary mindset and commercial orientation with a passion for leveraging technology to solve business challenges and deliver customer value.
  • Proven ability to balance long-term strategic planning with the delivery of immediate business outcomes.
  • A proven leader with 10+ years in Product Management, including experience in senior leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and stakeholders, aligning diverse perspectives to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering professional growth, and driving a results-oriented culture.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of translating complex business needs into actionable product strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of articulating a vision and mobilizing teams around it.
  • Mastery of product analytics and data-driven methodologies to guide product decisions and evaluate success.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $275,000 depending on experience also, annual bonus and equity
