Software Engineer, Full Stack

We are looking for a passionate Full stack Software Engineer to serve as the bridge and help delivery new user features end-to-end. This person will work across our backend and our front-end – designing and building the user interface for our portal, to developing APIs, workflows, and business logic – ensuring a seamless, efficient, and delightful customer experience that ensures safe and efficient student transportation for schools.

Position Summary: 

The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, innovative, and scalable products and can iterate rapidly. You’ll get the chance to own and deliver multiple features and be a driving force behind the evolution of our product.

Salary Range: $93,000 - $105,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential 
Location - Greenwood Village, CO.  Hybrid role - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver results on complex projects, including leading some projects end-to-end
    • Prototype, develop and extend our front-end and backend systems in support of our portals.
    • Assist with design and definition of business and system level services, APIs, and front-end portal using modern design principles and patterns
    • Work with Frontend and Backend engineers to ensure seamless delivery
    • Help to provide an accurate timeline and scoping estimations on engineering projects
    • Deliver high-quality maintainable code
  • Provide leadership in feature implementation & code quality
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team culture by supporting your team and collaborating with others
  • Follow agile/continuous integration engineering best practices

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of engineering experience building features end-to-end
  • Have a passion for technology and a drive to think out of the box
  • Diverse experience with a broad range of technologies and services – some of our key technologies are Microsoft Azure, C#, React/HTML/CSS, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Understanding of RESTful API patterns and how to optimize for front-end applications
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across environments and teams
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred
