FP&A Manager

Position Summary:
As an FP&A Manager, you will help lead the company’s financial planning and analysis function, owning budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, value creation, board reporting, and special project responsibilities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leadership, translate complex financial data into actionable insights, and develop and mentor members of the FP&A team. This position will report to the Vice President of Finance.
Salary Range: $135K - $145K/year, based on experience + bonus potential
Location - Greenwood Village, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Oversee performance indicators, highlighting trends and directing the analysis of causes of unexpected variance
- Own and drive the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling tools
- Partner with senior and executive leaders to provide consistent revenue analysis and expense analyses across key functional areas
- Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the board
- Mentor, develop, and provide guidance to FP&A analysts, fostering growth and building team capability
- Identify and lead process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and value of financial planning and reporting
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to deliver accurate and timely financial recommendations to executive leadership for strategic decision making purposes
- Own the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field plus 5+ years of progressive FP&A or related financial experience
- Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and the analysis of departmental and operating expenses
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Power BI and Power Query experience Strongly preferred
- Experience mentoring, developing, or leading team members
- Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior and executive leadership
- MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
