Your Role
As a Manager, Reporting and Analytics with Evergreen Nephrology, you are responsible for collaborating with the broader analytics, technology, and operations teams to develop claims based KPIs, metrics, and reporting that drive company performance and practice engagement. Your reporting (e.g., Power BI) and analytical skills will help develop metrics and new standard reports, follow a process around gathering requirements and feedback, provide analytics and utilization reporting to our customers, and supply data-driven insights to our operations and leadership teams. This role is an individual contributor role.
Role Responsibilities
Some responsibilities may vary based on specific patient programs, but this role's primary duties include the following:
- Collaborate with business partners to gather business reporting and analytics requirements, within the context of Power BI and transform raw claims data into desired metrics and insights
- Develop and maintain standard visual reports on claims based KPIs including trends over time, market and physician level performance, and clinical program specific metrics. This should provide stakeholders with a clear, at-a-glance understanding of operational performance.
- Tailor visualizations to different stakeholder needs, ensuring executives, operations teams, and analysts have the right level of detail to make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such operations and leadership to understand business needs and reporting requirements, providing regular updates on refreshes and insights
- Collaborate closely with Health Economics team to align on metric definitions and how metrics are reported out
- Utilize Power BI to design and create analytics dashboards and operational reports
- Validate the accuracy and quality of the data represented within analytics and reporting outputs
- Train end users on newly deployed dashboards
- Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of deployed dashboards
- Identify and track issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems, and process errors
- Define claims based key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and track them regularly
- Maintain documentation of existing reports and dashboards (KPI definitions, data sources, etc.)
- Other duties consistent with this role, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Economics, or related field. (Master's degree Preferred)
- Four (4) years of experience a reporting and analytics environment in the health care industry (Value-Based Care experience preferred)
- Two (2) years developing dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
- Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models
- Strong SQL query skills to get the best results
- Proven hands-on knowledge of turning data into relevant reports and visualizations
- Experience with data warehouses and big data technologies (DataBricks preferred)
- Experience developing and maintaining data models to support analytics and reporting needs
- Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Proven understanding of healthcare privacy and security practices
- Experience with healthcare claims data and dashboarding required
- xperience with Kidney Care a strong plus
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
- Able to work effectively in a primarily remote environment:
- Home internet must support a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. Cable, Fiber, or DSL connections hardwired to the internet device are recommended
- Evergreen will provide remote employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their role
- Employees must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Exact pay is determined based on experience, education, demand for the role, and other role-specific factors.
This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
