Group Controller - DMV Area

DMV Area

Evergreen Services Group is a San Francisco-based holding company that acquires and operates B2B services companies across North America. Since its founding in late 2017, Evergreen has completed 100+ acquisitions across Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, ERP Software Partners and Government Services. We are driven by a people-first mission to be the best home for businesses and their leaders, by marrying capital allocation with inspired operations.

The Evergreen holding company team is comprised of 40+ professionals based in San Francisco who are focused on capital allocation, M&A, executive level hiring, strategic board leadership, and finance and accounting. Evergreen is a uniquely long-term oriented holding company that seeks to hold and grow businesses indefinitely rather than follow the 5-7 year holding period of a typical private equity fund. This allows us to take a truly long-term view on performance and people. Evergreen is backed by Alpine Investors, a leading private equity firm focused on the services and software industries with $16B+ in AUM.

Cedar is driven by a people-first mission: invest in exceptional talent and technology to deliver effective government solutions. We are uniquely long-term oriented — we seek to hold and grow our businesses indefinitely, not flip them.

Cedar is backed by Evergreen and Alpine Investors, a leading private equity firm focused on services and software with $16B+ in AUM. Our portfolio companies benefit from proven playbooks, shared resources, and a culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and genuine care for people.

The Group Controller will also set up and refine the automation practices, systems, processes, and team across the finance and accounting functions of each of our businesses to meaningfully scale both organically and through acquisition. The ideal candidate has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is excited by the opportunity to build a first-class finance and accounting function.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box. The right attributes matter more to us than a perfect resume match.

We encourage you to apply even if you feel that you do not meet all of the above qualifications. Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
