Sr Manager of Merchandise Planning

Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager, Merchandise Planning to lead merchandise planning for our Women’s division. This role will oversee a team of 3 Planners and will provide leadership and strategic direction to optimize sales, margin and inventory for the full division. This role will partner with leadership and cross-functional partners to set preseason and inseason business strategies and develop and implement analytical tools and tactics to maximize inventory KPIs. The ideal candidate can deliver business results that support the brand vision and strategy. They will be engaged in the training and development of their team.
Your day-to-day:
- Create tops down seasonal financial plans that support category strategies
- Provide direction and lead team to build bottom up sales and inventory style plans that support sales and inventory financial targets
- Partner with Merchandising to develop strategic category plans and targets that support assortment strategy
- Responsible for Monthly OTB process, including tops down forecast and reconciling teams’ Bottoms up forecast
- Build actionable strategies around risks and opportunities identified in the business
- Enhance existing inventory models to improve forecast accuracy and inventory turnover
- Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure optimal inventory flows
- Build tools and dashboards to streamline business processes
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 6+ years experience in merchandise/inventory planning, allocation, finance or business analytics
- Advanced competency in Excel
- Strong leadership skills and communication skills with cross-functional partners
- Top-notch analytical, financial modeling and problem solving skills
- Ability to lead cross functional initiatives
- Understanding of product and trend as it relates to the business
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and new processes
- Management experience preferred
The Fine Print:
HQ: This is a full-time hybrid role based at our San Francisco office headquarters in the Mission neighborhood on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
California resident: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The annual compensation range for this role is $116,000 - $155,000. This range is based on the San Francisco geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
