Associate Art Director

Los Angeles, CA

Clean luxury. Better for you. At Everlane, we believe luxury should be as effortless as it is conscious. We partner with ethical factories, work with premium, sustainably sourced materials, and strive to leave the industry cleaner than we found it. There's still much to do, and we're excited to grow a team of motivated humans ready for the challenge. The journey toward better continues.

The Everlane Creative team connects marketing and business objectives to the creative heartbeat of the brand. Made up of thinkers and makers, the team provides a vision and a framework for work that directly engages our customers, from product campaigns, to retail to e-commerce to social media and beyond. Key brand codes such as transparency, accessibility, and inclusivity inform our work and guide our unique culture.

We are looking for an Associate Art Director to join the creative team to help bring the brand to life and evolve its design vision. Reporting into the Creative Director, you are responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering elevated creative solutions that support brand storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and commercial objectives. You will contribute to a wide range of projects with work spanning both the digital and physical space—anything from email and site design to in-store signage and paid advertising is fair game. You will work closely with the entire creative team to develop, concept and execute brand campaigns.

Your day-to-day:

Creative Direction & Concept Development

  • Develop and execute compelling, on-brand creative concepts across integrated platforms including digital, social, print, and experiential.
  • Partner with Creative Leadership to translate brand vision into cohesive seasonal campaigns and storytelling.
  • Create mood boards, visual frameworks, and presentation decks to communicate creative direction.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and cross-functional ideation for campaigns and brand initiatives.

Design & Execution

  • Lead the design and production of assets across channels including social media, e-commerce, email, web, and marketing collateral.
  • Oversee the creation of homepage content, email layouts, and digital storytelling assets (video, interactive, and motion where applicable).
  • Design and develop visual assets for product launches, brand campaigns, and retail activations.
  • Support and execute print materials including lookbooks, mailers, packaging, and in-store/outdoor visuals.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence across all touchpoints, maintaining high standards of typography, layout, and brand identity.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience within the field of design
  • A strong portfolio showcasing work across a range of platforms: digital, print, paid, packaging and more
  • Experience working across e-commerce, social, and campaign-driven environments
  • Expert knowledge of typography, grid systems, color theory and composition. A background in motion graphics and illustration is a bonus
  • A passion for brand building and a strong understanding of how to maintain and evolve design systems
  • Advanced Creative Suite and Figma knowledge. AfterEffects proficiency is a bonus.
  • Previous experience at an agency or high-end consumer brand preferred, but not required
  • Hands-on experience or genuine curiosity with AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.) and how they can accelerate ideation, production, and creative exploration
