Pricing Strategy Lead
Everlaw is seeking a Pricing Strategy Lead to spearhead our pricing initiatives. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models and frameworks across our entire product portfolio. Your work will be instrumental in how we make data-driven decisions regarding pricing, and you will be engaging directly with executives to drive pricing excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into effective pricing strategies, present findings to leadership, and navigate cross-functional leadership engagement.
This role reports directly to our VP, GTM Strategy & Operations and is a vital part of the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. You'll be the internal subject matter expert on all pricing-related matters, continuously monitoring industry trends, economic indicators, and competitor pricing to inform strategic adjustments. You’ll also play a critical role in fostering a data-driven culture around pricing within the organization.
This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

In your role, you'll...
- Lead the research, analysis, and development of new pricing models, structures, and packaging strategies across our product portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer willingness-to-pay studies to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with product roadmap, go-to-market initiatives, and financial targets.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to model the impact of pricing changes on key business metrics (e.g., ARR, CAC, LTV, gross margin, win rates, churn).
- Lead the design of a comprehensive New Product Introduction (NPI) process, creating a shared playbook that ensures all critical teams (Product, Finance, Operations, Enablement, and Go-to-Market leadership) are aligned and prepared for a smooth launch.
- Partner with product marketing and sales enablement to develop pricing collateral, training materials, and tools to support effective price communication and negotiation.
- Establish A/B testing frameworks for pricing experiments and analyze results to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement opportunities for price realization and discount optimization.
- Present findings, recommendations, and pricing performance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
About you
- You have 8+ years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, pricing analysis, or a similar quantitative role, with a strong preference for experience in a SaaS or technology company.
- You have a quantitative/analytical degree in a field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Data Science.
- You have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that have driven measurable business outcomes.
- You have expertise in various pricing methodologies (e.g., value-based pricing, usage-based, tiered, freemium).
- You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced Excel modeling, SQL, and experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate findings and influence diverse stakeholders.
- You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with pricing software or CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools is a plus.

- The expected salary range for this role is between $181,000 and $228,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate's experience and skills. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
