Deal Process Lead
Everlaw is seeking a Deal Process Lead to be a critical driver in optimizing our quote-to-cash (Q2C) process. This person will act as the bridge between business needs and system requirements, providing the leadership needed to drive the next phase of automation and efficiency. This role will play an essential role in taking our current process from a foundation to a truly scalable, efficient, and responsive system.
As a key member of the GTM Strategy & Operations team, you will be a central point of contact, ensuring the deal process aligns with company policies and is supported by our technology stack. You’ll be focused on building a unified deal process foundation that drives automation and efficiency. This new role will continually partner with Enterprise Technology, Finance, Customer Success, and GTM S&O to identify areas for improvement and optimize the design on an ongoing basis, ensuring we're constantly improving performance and adapting to evolving business needs.
This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

In your role, you'll...
- Serve as the primary business lead for the Everlaw quote-to-cash process, responsible for gathering and defining business requirements to drive the next phase of automation and efficiency.
- Partner with the Enterprise Systems team to translate business requirements into technical solutions that optimize the Q2C workflow, reducing manual intervention and improving system performance.
- Continually collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to identify process bottlenecks and new requirements, and ensure the ongoing optimization of our Q2C systems.
- Play a key role in new product introductions, ensuring that quote-to-cash considerations are proactively addressed for optimal system design.
- Act as the subject matter expert for quoting best practices, providing guidance and support to field teams and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of quote requests from the field, acting as the central point of contact to guide complex deals from initial inquiry to final quote generation.
- Establish clear rules of engagement, deal approval matrices, and discounting policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Create and maintain a central repository of deal process documentation and develop and deliver training sessions to the field and other stakeholders on process changes and system updates.
- Define and track key metrics for the deal process, such as deal cycle time, quoting accuracy, and approval velocity.
- Use data to build business cases for future process and systems investments.
About you
- You have 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, deal desk, sales operations, or a similar role, with a strong focus on quote-to-cash processes.
- You have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing complex deal processes in a B2B SaaS environment.
- You have deep expertise in CRM and CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ). Experience with billing systems and ERP systems is a plus.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive process improvements and provide insights to leadership.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate process changes and influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- The expected salary range for this role is between $168,000 and $213,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate's experience and skills. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.
