Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to assist with our financial planning and analysis efforts. This role will help manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, assist with financial reporting, report on trends and explain variances, and translate complex data into actionable insights to drive stronger business performance and profitability. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, highly-organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Work On
- Maintain and evolve our long-term forecasting models to support decision-making around expansion and operational strategies
- Create and maintain financial models to support ROI based decision-making and inform key stakeholders across the organization of the financial implications of key business decisions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages
- Conduct variance analyses and identify trends to support business decisions
- Create high-quality presentations to communicate financial performance to key stakeholders
- Assist in the management of cash flow and oversee investment and financing activities
- Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to build and evolve our financial reporting as well as align financial planning with business objectives
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed
- Manage various ad hoc analyses and special projects
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial management or related roles (1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or buy side investing preferred)
- Strong understanding of corporate finance
- Expert modeling skills, with experience building complex operating models
- An analytical mindset and inclination to seek out the truth instead of relying on generalities and broad assumptions
- Excellent problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership
- Excellent communication skills and “story telling” ability when presenting data insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial software tools
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments and willingness to get deep into the weeds when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sports, streaming, SaaS, or hospitality technology industries
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
Expected Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for a new hire into this position is $85,000 - $110,000. In compliance with local law, the range above reflects the current hiring range for this position. EverPass takes into consideration the qualifications, skills, and experience of the candidate, expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. EverPass expects to hire for this position at the mid-range salary, with the possibility of considering a higher salary only in rare cases when EverPass determines an external candidate possesses exceptional qualifications significantly exceeding the job requirements.
