About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to architect, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native data platforms that power business insights and decision-making. This role will lead the technical direction of our data platform and supporting tooling ensuring best practices in data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and platform scalability.  This role will directly support the Director of Data and Analytics by enabling data driven product decisions, operational efficiency, and subscriber engagement analytics at scale. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, cleanse, and store large-scale datasets
• Building and optimizing data integration workflows to connect data from different systems and platforms
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
• Managing data infrastructure on cloud platform, including capacity planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance data infrastructure
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-native architecture; hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g. Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue) a plus
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Airflow, Event Driven Architecture; knowledge of Java, Node.JS + React.JS a plus
• Deep understanding data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ELT & ETL architectures, and distributed computing for optimized performance
• Familiarity with relational databases, APIs and third-party data integrations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills both in Spanish and English
