About the Role 
 
As a Product Designer with a Technical/Systems Mindset, you’ll work at the intersection of UX, streaming technology, and on-premise experiences. You’ll own end-to-end journeys across the EverPass ecosystem: web, mobile, and TV.

This role goes beyond designing screens. You’re expected to understand how EverPass is set up and operated in venues, how it connects to networks, and how streaming behaves under real-world conditions. You’ll use that systems-level understanding to shape flows, states, and interactions that help non-technical users get set up, stay online, and deliver great live sports experiences.

You’ll collaborate closely with your manager, fellow designers, Product, Engineering, and other teams across our Chicago and Montevideo offices, acting as a bridge between business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs, and influencing product decisions so that what we build is both feasible and valuable for our customers.

We welcome candidates from Product Design, UX Engineering, or Front-end backgrounds, as long as you’re excited about owning the user experience end-to-end.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Design user-centered experiences across EverPass’s platforms, with a strong emphasis on TV and in-venue viewing experiences alongside web and mobile.
• Own and refine critical end-to-end journeys across the full lifecycle of the EverPass experience, from initial setup to everyday use in venues.
• Translate technical constraints (such as network conditions, streaming behavior, and endpoint capabilities) into clear flows, states, and messaging that make sense for our customers and their staff.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams throughout discovery, design, and implementation to understand how the system works end-to-end and reflect that in coherent, reliable experiences across EverPass’s touchpoints.
• Create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate behavior across different states, contributing to the evolution of our design system across web, mobile, and TV platforms.
• Stay informed on industry trends in streaming, networks, connected environments, and multimedia UX, and bring those insights into the design process.

Knowledge and Experience  

• 2+ years of experience designing digital products in cross-functional teams.
• Background in Product Design, UX Design, UX Engineering, or Front-end development with strong UX skills.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience working with design systems and component-based UI.
• Experience designing for web and mobile; exposure to TV or large screens is a plus.
• Experience or strong interest in technically complex domains such as streaming, networks, IoT, telecom, or hardware + software products, and a conceptual understanding of how connectivity and streaming behavior impact the user experience.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, discussing constraints and trade-offs.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
