Denver, CO

At EverPeak, our vision is to protect the hardest-working businesses in America. We are fiercely devoted to helping our partners and businesses climb higher by combining deep underwriting expertise, smart technology, and a crucial human touch to make insurance exactly as easy as it should be. We remove the friction and slow bureaucracy of legacy platforms to deliver rapid, reliable commercial coverage. Our technology simplifies the process, but our true strength lies in our relationships and our people. We look for team members who live our core values every day - professionals who Own the Outcome, choose We Over Me, speak with a Kind Heart, Straight Talk, Champion the Customer, understand that Success Is Earned, and show up authentically with No Costumes.

What To Expect

The Senior Pricing and Product Strategist will lead pricing strategy analysis and operational product ownership for EverPeak, spanning our core commercial lines of business. This role will initially launch within the Workers' Comp line and rapidly scale to include our Business Owner’s Policy (BOP) and future strategic verticals.

Operating at a high level of cross-functional complexity, the Strategist serves as a critical, high-impact liaison bridging the gap between our Actuarial partners, Technical Product Owners, and Engineering teams on behalf of the internal business owner (VP/ General Manager of each line of business). The role will work in lockstep with the VP / General Manager of each specific line of business to align market realities with underwriting strategy.

The Strategist is responsible for establishing a data-driven feedback loop that translates real-time market signals and leading operational indicators into actionable pricing requirements. Crucially, this includes collaborating deeply with Actuarial teams to understand emerging models, interpret predictive modifications, and actively influence the next evolution of our pricing engines.

The Strategist will lead the data acquisition efforts necessary to validate assumptions, pressure-test pricing hypotheses, and run elasticity models. Furthermore, this role will architect the functional blueprint for a future-state "Pricing Command Center" dashboard and is positioned to scale, mature, and potentially lead an expanding team of dedicated analysts as portfolio volume dictates.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position with standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility at manager’s discretion.

What You’ll Do

Pricing Analytics & Feedback Loop (Hands-On Execution):

  • Roll up their sleeves to lead deep-dive pricing analytics, executing hands-on rate adequacy analyses, experience monitoring, profitability mapping by segment, and price elasticity testing.
  • Proactively dig into historical and real-time production data to find, isolate, and validate hidden pockets of pricing inadequacy or margin leak.
  • Synthesize these complex data findings into objective, quantifiable business cases and bring them directly to the Actuarial team to drive necessary model adjustments.
  • Partner closely with Underwriting,  Actuarial and Data Engineering teams to test ideas, validate core modeling assumptions, and refine predictive segmentation logic.
  • Instrument real-time pricing A/B tests and marketplace experiments, translating immediate results into tactical, actionable pricing adjustments

Pricing Command Center & Tactical Capability Building:

  • Lead the discovery, requirement mapping, and functional design of a centralized "Pricing Command Center" capability suite.
  • Define and build an operational suite of pricing "levers" and tactical overlays (e.g., automated class adjustments, target segmentation rules, localized modifier adjustments).
  • Ensure this capability suite empowers the business owner (Line VP / General Manager) to execute swift, short-term tactical pricing adjustments based on real-time market signals to implement timely changes in between actuarial model updates.
  • Translate highly complex data inputs and leading indicators into clean, executive-ready data visualizations that provide immediate transparency into portfolio health and marketplace changes.

Cross-Functional Product Liaison & Delivery:

  • Serve as the definitive cross-functional connector between Actuarial, Underwriting Operations, the Line VPs, and the Core Engineering team.
  • Convert newly approved pricing strategies, model evolutions, and operational overlays into explicit technical user stories and prioritized features for the technical Product Owner.
  • Collaborate step-by-step with the Technical Product and Engineering teams to build out deployment logic, perform rigorous system rating engine testing, and ensure absolute operational readiness before any pricing feature goes live.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert on enterprise projects, corporate steering committees, and core system enhancements.
  • Participate in executive briefings, key customer worksite visits, and national industry events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
