Position Summary

As a Marketing Specialist on Everstand’s Advancement Team, you will collaborate with the Senior Director of Advancement to develop, implement, and optimize strategic marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility, strengthen community engagement, and advance Everstand’s mission. You will manage multi-channel digital marketing efforts across Everstand’s website, social media platforms, and email marketing channels while creating compelling multimedia content, including videos, graphics, blog posts, case studies, and testimonials, that brings Everstand’s impact and stories to life. This role is ideal for a creative, results-driven marketing professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities, building relationships, and finding innovative ways to connect audiences with Everstand’s mission.

What You’ll Do!

Content Creation

  • Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, graphics, blog posts, case studies, and testimonials that showcase Everstand’s impact.
  • Maintain Everstand’s website and creative asset library with fresh, engaging content.
  • Collaborate with external designers to develop branded templates and promotional materials.
  • Create infographics and other visual content to effectively communicate data and insights.

Digital Engagement

  • Manage Everstand’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms and digital marketing calendar.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement and strengthen Everstand’s digital presence.
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages while staying current on emerging trends.
  • Coordinate photography and video coverage for events.

Communications

  • Develop strategies to amplify Everstand’s thought leadership.
  • Support article development and speaking engagements.
  • Create a brand story playbook to promote consistent messaging.
  • Prepare presentation materials for leadership speaking engagements and external events.

Branding & Promotions

  • Manage Everstand’s online promotional storefront, print collateral, and stationery.
  • Support internal branding projects throughout Everstand locations.
  • Obtain quotes and bids for printing and promotional materials.

Events & Advancement Support

  • Support staff appreciation events, client-facing events, signature events, and fundraisers.
  • Support Advancement team initiatives and key performance indicators.
  • Participate in annual budget development for the Advancement team.
  • Participate in accreditation efforts and internal workgroups as requested.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a creative and results-driven marketing professional who can turn ideas into compelling stories and campaigns. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects, collaborating across teams, meeting deadlines, and connecting with diverse audiences.

You should bring:

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, website management, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Experience creating videos, graphics, written content, and other storytelling assets.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to create persuasive, strengths-based, and donor-centered communications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and creative skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Comfort engaging with donors, community partners, leadership, and diverse audiences.
  • A passion for advancing Everstand’s mission and improving outcomes for youth and families.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant nonprofit marketing experience.
  • At least 1 year of website management experience; WordPress strongly preferred.
  • At least 1 year of CRM experience; Raiser’s Edge NXT strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain the license and operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks, CPS/UII check, tuberculosis testing, work-readiness physical, fingerprinting, and drug screening.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at Everstand’s Baltimore Campus.
