Job Purpose
The Financial Analyst will report directly to the SVP, NA Strategic Finance and is primarily responsible for providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results/models; identifying trends, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions where appropriate
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with and deliver financial results to departmental and divisional leaders to support them with actual vs budget, headcount management, and other financial needs
- Partner with Accounting and Data/Systems teams to develop meaningful, timely reporting for business stakeholders
- Identify business inefficiencies through financial analysis and business partnership
- Complete the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual planning models
- Analyze product cost and pricing
- Prepare ROI analysis and assess business cases
Essential Criteria
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong analytical skills including financial modeling and attention to detail
- Experienced excel user and knowledge of company BI tools, including data warehouse, ERPs, CRMs, etc
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with a positive, pragmatic attitude
- Ability to conduct data research, data analysis, and solve complex problems
Desirable Criteria
- Actively pursuing or obtained MBA
- Actively pursuing or obtained CPA or CFA
- Experienced with Tableau
