About the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven VP of Customer Acquisition to lead and scale our Nordic sales organisation in the workplace SaaS sector. This is a high-impact role where you’ll build and execute a winning sales strategy, define our value proposition, and establish KPIs and playbooks to drive predictable growth. You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, and leading a high-performing team while expanding our market presence across the region. Key Responsibilities 

Sales Strategy and Execution

    • Develop and implement a scalable go-to-market strategy for the Nordics (DK, SE & NO).
    • Define and refine value propositions, ensuring alignment with market needs.
    • Set clear KPIs, sales playbooks, and best practices to standardise the sales process.
    • Drive new business acquisition while expanding existing accounts.

Team Leadership & Growth

    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team (SDRs and New Business Development Managers)
    • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and coaching.
    • Identify training, development and skills needs for yourself and your team and regularly check in on the development plan progress
    • Proactively manage the performance of your direct reports and their teams, reviewing objectives and providing feedback on a regular basis. 
  • Revenue and Pipeline Management
    • Own and drive the sales funnel from lead generation to close.
    • Directly support pipeline generation, significant sales opportunities and large contract negotiations with team members when needed to support their efforts 
    • Establish forecasting models and ensure predictable revenue growth.
    • Optimise CRM usage (Salesforce) for pipeline visibility and reporting.

  • Market Expansion & Customer Insights
    • Identify and pursue new verticals, partnerships, and market opportunities.
    • Work closely with Marketing & Customer Success to refine messaging, build campaign and event strategies to grow the pipeline, and ensure strong retention.
    • Stay on top of competitor trends, industry shifts, and customer pain points.
    • Maintain technical knowledge to support understanding of client's requirements and the positioning of Everway group products 

Measures of success 

Revenue and Growth

    • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the Nordics.
    • Increase average deal size and contract value (ACV, ARR).
    • Contribute to reduced customer acquisition costs (CAC, CAC:LTV)

Pipeline and conversion

    • Maintain a healthy pipeline coverage ratio (e.g., 3-5x quota).
    • Improve lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close conversion rates.

Sales team performance

    • Hire, onboard, and retain top talent.
    • Reduce ramp-up time for new hires and ensure high team productivity.

Customer and Market expansion

    • Successfully expand into new industries/segments.

Essential Criteria

Proven SaaS Sales Leadership

    • Minimum 5+ years in SaaS leadership, with Nordic market experience. 
    • Strong track record of building and scaling high-performance sales teams. 
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets,
    • Experience in the enterprise and public sector HR market, productivity or B2B SaaS sector
    • Proven ability to motivate and mentor teams, embedding a data-driven culture of high performance
    • Ability to create and execute sales strategies that drive growth
    • Experience in setting up KPI frameworks, playbooks, and sales enablement processes.
    • Strong P&L responsibility and revenue forecasting experience.
    • Deep understanding of SAAS marketing and sales strategies and associated metrics 
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making

  • Nordic Market Knowledge
    • Deep understanding of regional buying behavior, procurement processes, and competition.
    • Fluent in English and (at least) one of the Scandinavian languages

Desirable Criteria 

  • Leadership with a growth mindset, resulting in the development of a culture of continuous improvement 
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, or similar methodologies
  • Strong network within Nordic HR, IT, or Digital Transformation leaders
  • Keen interest in being part of and collaborating in a dynamic and forward-thinking team environment that encourages progress and achievement
