About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing Account Management team. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth with your assigned accounts. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, and closing deals with enterprise-level customers. This is a customer centric role that requires a deep understanding of our solutions and a passion for fostering an inclusive working environment. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective growth strategies for your assigned accounts to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Analyse customer usage data, feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for account expansion
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing and product teams to align growth strategies with overall business goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key members of the client account, proactively expanding influence by identifying and nurturing additional stakeholders within the client organisation 
  • Conduct regular business reviews alongside the customer success manager with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth
  • Lead product education webinars and training sessions to drive usage and adoption 
  • Provide accurate and timely upsell and cross sell  forecasts to senior management
  • Utilise CRM tools and reporting systems to track and analyse account growth performance metrics
  • Utilise the MEDDPICC framework to qualify opportunities within accounts, identifying key stakeholders, decision criteria, and metrics to drive effective engagement and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Present regular reports on growth trends, challenges, and successes
  • Advocate for customer needs and feedback within the organisation

  • Pipeline accuracy
  • NDR

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years of senior sales experience with an emphasis on expanding account upsell and cross selling.
  • Proven experience of high level customer service and associated interpersonal skills i.e. negotiation, strategic thinking, empathy, managing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of sales methods such as MEDDPICC or MEDDICC
  • Experience preparing and conducting online presentations for both internal and external stakeholders at enterprise level accounts

Desirable Criteria

  • Third level education focusing on business or related field
  • Experience of SaaS sales strategies and associated metrics
  • Proficiency in customer success technology
  • Proven ability to mentor team members
