About the role 

MatchWare is seeking a dedicated and skilled software developer to join our development team in Aarhus. The candidate will contribute as a valued member of the team responsible for developing advanced meeting management software. This cloud-based solution is designed to enable organizations to conduct meetings that are more efficient, accountable, and results-driven.

In this role, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues and will be given opportunities to take on responsibility and influence all stages of the development process.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong command of software development best practices, possess the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, and be committed to delivering innovative software solutions.

Main Responsibilities 

• Develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
• Take part of development meetings to drive the development in the right direction
• Collaborate to deliver world class software in conjunction with our QA team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development 
• Bring a mindset of ownership and self-motivation 
• Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Essential Criteria 

• Educational degree in engineering or a related software discipline
• Extensive experience with server-side programming in .NET (C#)
• Extensive experience with web application development (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with databases (SQL)
• Proficient in both Danish and English
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) 
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong problem-solving skills 

Desirable Criteria 

• Experience of web development technologies (React and Redux)
• Experience with cloud-based development using Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Azure devops, Pipelines etc. )
• Experience in writing and executing unit tests
