About the role 

A member of the Leadership team, reporting to the Chief People Officer, the SVP, People Operations, is a high-impact role responsible for shaping and implementing the people strategy to support business objectives. Leading the People Operations team, this role is responsible for the employee life cycle experience, from onboarding through the entire employee journey ensuring the highest standards of service and professionalism at all times.

You will ensure the delivery of an exceptional HR service to all employees, maintaining HR policies and processes that are best in class and meet regulatory standards.

This is a fixed-term contract (FTC) expected to last approximately 9 months.

Main responsibilities 

  • Deliver on the People Operations strategy and priorities supporting the achievement of business OKRs
  • Lead the design and execution of the compensation and benefits agenda to ensure a C&B offer which supports employees at all life stages, conducting regular benchmarking to ensure competitiveness with an initial focus on harmonisation
  • Develop people-centric policies, procedures and solutions with a focus on quality and ensuring a great employee experience aligned with our values
  • Oversee mergers and acquisitions from a people perspective ensuring global compliance within a fast paced environment
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are legally compliant, focusing on making these as global as possible, as local as necessary and designing guiding principles where necessary
  • Oversee the accurate and efficient delivery of HR services throughout the employee life cycle with a focus on continuous improvement of these
  • Oversee restructuring and organisational change activities to ensure compliance with local legislation
  • Oversee the HR Business Partner team to ensure strong partnership with the business, positioning HR as central to decision making relating to people
  • Act as subject matter expert and advisor on complex ER issues
  • Develop and maintain usage of HR information systems to ensure the production of accurate and high quality information
  • Evolve the people dashboard which supports leaders in making data-driven decisions in relation to people
  • Drive employee engagement, gauging employee sentiment throughout the year and identifying key actions to improve the employee experience
  • Support the D&I agenda and play a key role in the creation and execution of the strategy across the organisation
  • Upskill managers in addressing and solving their people issues in a proactive manner which supports our position as an equal opportunity employer where people are treated with dignity and respect
  • Develop relevant external relationships which support the further evolution of the People Operations agenda
  • Proactively deliver day to day work in line with the People strategy, maintaining operational excellence and HR compliance with statutory requirements

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 3 years recent experience in a senior HR leadership role, supporting a global workforce.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, preferably at a global level
  • Design and delivery of people processes and policies
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in compensation and benefits, including job evaluation, salary and reward benchmarking and review
  • Strong HRIS knowledge and experience utilising AI and automation in people operations processes
  • Strong project management skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to build and nurture strong partnerships
  • Experienced coach, mentor and leader

Desirable Criteria

  • CIPD membership
