About the role

The SVP, Systems Engineering  leads the technical delivery of our end-to-end commercial platform, powering the full Lead-to-Cash lifecycle. This role will drive the integration of our sales, commerce, and financial systems, creating a seamless, scalable ecosystem and a unified “Golden Thread” of data that enables growth and operational excellence.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and execution, and is passionate about building scalable systems that directly enable company growth.

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver and Support Lead-to-Cash Architecture: Oversee Salesforce (CRM/CPQ), marketing automation, e-commerce platforms, and ERP (e.g., Sage Intacct) to ensure seamless, accurate data flow across the customer journey
  • Drive Engineering Excellence: Implement modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing), scalable API-led integrations, and high system reliability
  • Accelerate Delivery with AI: Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Salesforce Einstein) to improve developer productivity and engineering velocity
  • Enable Business Outcomes: Partner with Commercial and Finance leaders to reduce sales cycle friction, improve quoting speed, and ensure financial data integrity
  • Lead High-Performing Teams: Manage multi-disciplinary engineering squads (Salesforce, integrations, web, ERP), fostering a product-led, agile delivery model
  • Own Technology Ecosystem: Ensure performance, scalability, and security across the full systems landscape; manage key vendor relationships and platform ROI

 

Essential criteria

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering leadership role. 
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Apex, LWC, CPQ) and cloud ERP platforms (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP)
  • Proven experience owning Lead-to-Cash / RevOps systems
  • Deep knowledge of API integrations, middleware, and distributed systems
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps practices, and scalable engineering processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale cross-functional engineering teams aligned to business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management, with experience partnering with CRO, CFO, and other executive leadership
  • Experience in M&A environments, particularly systems integration and data harmonization

Desirable criteria

  • Experience scaling digital commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce)
  • Exposure to AI-augmented development and automation within engineering workflows
  • Familiarity with modern integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato)
  • Track record of transitioning teams to product-led, squad-based delivery models
