About EviSmart™
EviSmart™ is a global leader in AI-powered dental workflow automation and CAD design outsourcing. Trusted by dental labs and clinics in over 26 countries, we're reshaping how modern dentistry works — and the platform that ties it all together is being built right now.
We're a hands-on team that moves fast, stays close to the work, and builds things that matter. Everyone here is in it together.
The Role
Today, dental lab owners manage their operations across a patchwork of disconnected tools. This role builds the product that changes that — a unified dashboard platform where labs manage cases, connect scanner portals, view analytics, and access every EviSmart module in one place.
You'll be one of the first engineers building on this platform, working within a React JS / TypeScript architecture set by the Lead Frontend Engineer and translating designs from the UX designer into production-quality components that lab owners interact with every day.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in what they ship — who cares that the interface feels fast and polished, and who's excited to be one of the people who built something from its earliest days.
What You’ll Do
- Build core dashboard shell components in React JS / TypeScript: navigation, module launcher, settings, account management — the platform frame that all modules live inside
- Build user-facing product experiences across the platform: onboarding flows, module interfaces, data visualisations, and tier management views
- Consume backend APIs following the integration patterns established by the Lead Frontend Engineer — clean state management and data rendering in React
- Collaborate closely with the UX designer to translate wireframes and designs into production React components — and make sound UI decisions independently when design input isn't immediately available
- Work alongside a third frontend engineer as part of a build team — clean Git practices, clear component ownership, and regular sync
- Build reusable components that become the building blocks for future platform features
Tech We Use
- Frameworks: React, Next.js
- Styling: TailwindCSS, styled-components, SCSS
- Design Handoff: Figma, Zeplin
- Animation: Framer Motion, GSAP
- Tooling: GitHub, Vercel, Storybook, PostCSS, ESLint
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years React JS / TypeScript frontend development experience, with at least one new product build or major platform initiative
- Strong in: React JS, TypeScript, modern CSS (Tailwind or CSS-in-JS), responsive design, and component-driven architecture
- Experienced with REST or GraphQL API consumption, state management (React Query, Zustand, or Redux), and auth flows
- Has built dashboard platforms, data-rich interfaces, or complex multi-module SaaS products
- Has an eye for detail and polish
- Comfortable working with partial design specs and making sound UI judgment calls independently
- Writes clean, consistent React code and collaborates well in a multi-person frontend team
- SaaS or B2B platform experience preferred; dental or healthcare background not required
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and align across multiple teams
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills with experience deriving business strategy from data
- Experience with beta testing and collecting customer feedback for product iteration
- Excellent ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in a startup environment with a passion for fast iteration and continuous improvement
Nice to Have
- Experience with Storybook or building design systems
Bonus Points
- Experience building design systems or shared component libraries
- Familiarity with data visualisation libraries
- Experience working with offshore teammates across timezones
