Seoul - People and Ops Manager

Gangnam, Seoul, Korea

Location: Gangnam, Seoul, Korea

Job Type: Full-time, On-Site

₩45,000,000 - ₩65,000,000

About the Role

We’re looking for a People & Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations and recruitment efforts in Korea. This is a hybrid role that blends office management, HR, and talent acquisition. You’ll be the backbone of our Korea office—driving smooth operations, managing people processes, and building our team with top talent.

You’ll report directly to our Head of Talent Acquisition (Vancouver HQ) and act as the key bridge between our Korea office and global leadership. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of operations while playing a central role in shaping the growth of our Korea team.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Office Management

  • Oversee daily office operations, facilities, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Implement company policies, processes, and systems in alignment with HQ.
  • Keep the Korea office running as a productive, engaging, and welcoming workplace.

HR & People Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR matters in Korea.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to nurture and strengthen company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Korean labor laws and HR best practices.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for Korea—sourcing, screening, and closing top candidates.
  • Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and deliver exceptional candidates.
  • Champion the candidate experience with professionalism, responsiveness, and care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in office management, HR, or recruitment (ideally a mix of all three).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills—you thrive wearing multiple hats.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English (written & verbal).
  • A self-starter with ownership mentality and problem-solving drive.
  • Knowledge of Korean labor regulations and HR compliance is a strong plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
  • A dynamic, visible role where you directly shape both people and operations.
  • Growth opportunities as our Korea office expands and our global team scales.
  • A collaborative, supportive culture where your work is recognized and celebrated.
