Data Architect

We are looking for a skilled Data Architect to take ownership of our company's data governance strategy and lead our data teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle—from collection and storage to organization and utilization—to ensure we build a robust, data-driven foundation for our future.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Data Governance & Strategy: You will have primary ownership of the company's data governance

strategy, with a core focus on data quality, collection, storage, and organization. This role also

works hand in hand with our security team to ensure robust data security and privacy. You will lead

the design and implementation of standards to ensure the integrity and reliability of our data across

all systems.

 

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, data scientists,

and ETL developers. You will guide their work on data visualization, modeling, and data pipeline projects, ensuring their efforts align with the company's strategic goals and our data standards.

 

• System Integration: Design and implement data solutions that unify data from disparate sources,

creating a single, centralized data repository.

 

• Data Collection & Architecture:

o Collaborate with various teams to understand their current data collection and storage

methods.

o Review the user interfaces (UI) of our software and portals to ensure we are capturing the

necessary data for future analytics and product development.

o Propose and implement new tools and processes to standardize data collection across all

systems.

 

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to

align on data requirements and ensure our architecture supports the development of data-driven

products.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, with prior experience in leading or mentoring a team of data

professionals.

• Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.

• Proficiency in designing and managing centralized data systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
