About the Role 

We’re looking for a skilled Data Architect to take ownership of our company’s data governance strategy and lead our growing data team. You’ll be responsible for the full data lifecycle—from collection and storage to organization and utilization—ensuring a robust, scalable, and reliable foundation for EviSmart’s data-driven future. 

This is a key leadership role, driving innovation across our systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to power the intelligence behind our products and decision-making.

What You’ll Do 

  • Data Governance & Strategy
    Own and define EviSmart’s data governance framework, ensuring high standards for data quality, collection, storage, and security. Partner closely with our security team to maintain strong data protection and privacy compliance across systems.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship
    Lead, mentor, and empower a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, data scientists, and ETL developers. Ensure alignment between their work and EviSmart’s strategic goals, driving excellence in data modeling, visualization, and pipeline design.
  • System Integration
    Architect and implement scalable data solutions that unify data from diverse systems into a centralized, trusted source of truth.
  • Data Collection & Architecture
    – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance existing data collection and storage methods.
    – Review software and portal interfaces to ensure effective data capture for analytics and product innovation. 
    – Design and deploy tools and processes that standardize and streamline data collection company-wide. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define data requirements, ensuring the architecture supports EviSmart’s data-driven decision-making and product evolution.

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a track record of leading or mentoring high-performing data teams. 
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data modeling, and data warehousing principles. 
  • Expertise in designing and managing centralized data systems and integration pipelines. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
