Talent Acquisition Manager

New York

Evolve Physical Therapy is a PT-founded and operated practice that has built a strong reputation in Brooklyn for clinical excellence and high-quality, personal physical therapy care. We value autonomy, evidence-based practice, and an environment where Physical Therapists can continue to learn, grow, and advance.

We’re creating a new Talent Acquisition Manager role for an experienced healthcare recruiter who wants the opportunity to build, lead, and make an impact. You’ll work directly with leadership to shape how we attract, hire, welcome, and develop our people across Evolve and Rise-affiliated clinics.

If you know the physical therapy, allied health, or broader clinical recruiting landscape and want more ownership, room to bring your ideas, and a voice in how a growing practice builds its team, we’d love to meet you.

Please note: This is a hybrid role that combines working from home with regular on-site time at our locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island, plus travel to regional career fairs. Applicants must be based locally and able to meet these travel requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll help build our talent acquisition function while leading full-cycle recruiting for current openings. From developing candidate pipelines to strengthening workflows and coaching hiring teams, you’ll have an active role in creating a recruiting culture that reflects our commitment to patient care and the people who make it possible.

Your work will also extend beyond hiring. In partnership with marketing, clinical teams, HR, operations, and leadership, you’ll lead onboarding activities and support programs that help clinicians feel connected, develop their skills, and see a future with Evolve and Rise-affiliated clinics.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for PTs, PTAs, clinic directors, and support staff, from proactive sourcing through interviews, offers, and follow-up.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to prioritize openings, develop recruiting plans, and keep hiring decisions moving.
  • Build candidate pipelines using creative sourcing tools and strategies, including LinkedIn, Indeed, AI-powered sourcing platforms, direct outreach, referrals, and professional networks.
  • Collaborate with marketing to strengthen our employer brand and communicate our approach to patient care, culture, benefits, and career opportunities.
  • Own Greenhouse Recruiting and Onboarding as our superuser, managing workflows, candidate and new-hire information, communication, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain the recruiting event calendar, coordinate participation, attend career fairs and university events in person, and lead candidate follow-up.
  • Work with the HR team to coordinate and deliver onboarding, guiding new hires through required steps, facilitating orientation, and partnering with clinic teams to help employees feel welcomed, prepared, and supported.
  • Lead early-career recruiting and student clinical affiliation initiatives, including university relationships, affiliation coordination, student placements, and opportunities to transition students into future employees.
  • Partner with clinical leadership on mentorship, career pathways, and leadership development programs such as Clinic Director University.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives across Evolve and Rise-affiliated clinics, gathering feedback and helping turn ideas into action.
  • Understand and anticipate trends in physical therapy hiring, compensation, and competitor activity, and bring forward strategies that keep Evolve and Rise-affiliated clinics competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Improve recruiting processes, coach hiring teams, and use hiring metrics and budget results to guide decisions.
