Senior Product Designer, Guest Commerce

Remote - US

At Evolve, we’re on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone. Our high-performing, customer-obsessed team runs on curiosity, communication, and accountability—working together to create exceptional experiences for our owners and guests. Whether solving big challenges, delivering outstanding results, or celebrating wins, we approach every day with purpose and passion. If you’re ready to join a mission-driven company where every teammate has the opportunity to thrive, Evolve might just be the place for you.

Why this role

Evolve is the largest tech-enabled vacation rental management company in North America, and evolve.com is our consumer marketplace. We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to own how travelers find, trust and book a stay with us.

You will lead product design across our direct booking surfaces: search, dynamic pricing, mobile checkout, promotions, and AI trip planning. You will collaborate in a dedicated pod: a PM, two full-stack engineers, and analytics all focused on evolve.com. If you are a hypothesis-driven e-commerce designer who balances customer trust and visual craft with conversion lift and works AI-native, come build with us.

What you’ll do

  • Design the Booking Funnel: Own the evolve.com path-to-purchase—search, listing pages, and checkout.
  • Search & Inventory Discovery: Shape intuitive search, filtering, and recommendation and Ai trip planning  patterns that help travelers quickly find the ideal home or discover suitable alternatives.
  • High-Consideration Purchase UX: Design clear pricing architecture, fee structures, and value propositions that build guest confidence and reduce purchase anxiety.
  • Mobile Commerce: Optimize the end-to-end transaction flow on mobile web, prioritizing speed, clarity, and timely support at critical moments of hesitation.
  • Retention & Re-Engagement: Design high-leverage touchpoints across the guest lifecycle, including promotional incentives, cart recovery flows, referrals, and repeat-stay loops.
  • Hypothesis-Driven Experimentation: Collaborate with your pod to rapidly prototype, launch A/B tests, and make decisions grounded in data.
  • Solve from First Principles: Dig into funnel drop-offs, user research, and unit economics to uncover the root causes of friction and prioritize solutions by business impact.

What makes you a great fit

  • 7+ years of Product Design experience with a strong portfolio of high-consideration consumer e-commerce, travel/hospitality or marketplace experiences that drove measurable revenue or conversion lift.
  • Conversion Without Sacrificing Craft: You understand consumer purchasing psychology and can explain why a high performing page you built works.
  • A Builder Skillset: Mastery of visual design, interaction design, responsive design, and web performance paired with a comfort working fast and iterating in real time alongside engineers and PMs.
  • A Builder Tech Stack: You are already working in AI workflows and able to implement your prototypes.
  • Experimental Rigor: Complete comfort using quantitative data (funnel metrics, A/B testing, product analytics) and qualitative insights to validate hypotheses and design decisions.
  • High-Performance Mindset: You are customer-obsessed and embrace a growth mindset.

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $141,000 to $184,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance. Compensation for this role may vary to reflect local market conditions.

Location

All Evolve team members must live in one of our approved locations by their first day. We can hire from anywhere in the U.S. except D.C. and Hawaii. Some positions may also have restrictions based on compensation in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both! How we use AI in our own hiring: We practice what we preach. Our recruiting team uses AI to work smarter so we can spend more time on real conversations with candidates. That includes drafting job descriptions, screening resumes and videos alongside human review, summarizing interview notes, and spotting patterns in our recruiting data. AI never decides who gets hired, advanced, or rejected. Every decision stays with a human.
