Manager, Business Development

EVYD Technology is looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth within our healthcare and government client base while expanding into general tech industries (e.g., education, smart transport) and new international markets.  

What will you do? 

As a Business Development Manager, you will own end-to-end client relationships in Brunei and beyond - ensuring retention, upselling, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires strong commercial acumen, Healthtech expertise, and collaboration with technical teams to develop solutions that address client needs. This role reports to our General Manager and is based in Brunei.   

Your key responsibilities include:  

1. Client Retention & Growth 

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for key clients (healthcare providers, government authorities) in Brunei, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for EVYD’s software solutions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that improve outcomes and drive digital transformation for both new and existing clients. 
  • Gather and analyze client requirements to facilitate solution development. 
     

2. New Business Development 

  • Expand EVYD’s solutions into general tech industries (education, smart transport). 
  • Explore regional and international markets through partnerships, tenders, or direct sales. 
     

3. Strategic Partnerships & Integrations 

  • Collaborate software vendors, outsourcing partners, and other stakeholders to develop and co-create solutions for non-healthcare verticals. 
  • Lead system integration projects to enhance EVYD’s offerings for different industries. 
     

4. Proposal & Tender Leadership 

  • Own end-to-end proposal development (RFPs, RFIs, tenders), coordinating inputs from product, tech, and operations teams. 
  • Craft compelling sales pitches and ROI-driven narratives for diverse stakeholders (healthcare providers, government, corporate clients). 
     

5. Market & Competitive Intelligence 

  • Monitor trends in Healthtech, and in general tech industries to identify opportunities. 
  • Analyze competitor activity and evolving client needs to refine EVYD’s value proposition.  

Travel Requirements 

  • Commuting to other districts may be required for this role.  

What We’re Looking For   

  • Experience: 5-7 years in B2B/B2G business development, preferably in Healthtech, SaaS, or enterprise software. 
  • Skills: 

- Proven success in managing complex client relationships (healthcare/government preferred). 

- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders. 

- Experience in tender submissions and cross-functional projects. 

- Understanding smart cities and digital transformation trends is a plus. 

- Background in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Solutions Architecture is an advantage.
