Senior Associate, Business Development
In Brief:
EVYD Technology is seeking a proactive, commercially driven, and resourceful Senior Associate, Business Development to join our Brunei team. This role is suited for an individual with experience in business development, account management, partnerships, consulting, or related functions, with proven experience in customer relationship and account management. Exposure to healthcare, information technology (IT), artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, or related industries will be highly advantageous. The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of Brunei’s healthcare ecosystem, including government healthcare institutions, private healthcare providers, digital health initiatives, and the evolving AI and technology landscape.
As part of this role, you will represent EVYD locally, build and strengthen strategic stakeholder relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support the growth of EVYD’s healthcare AI and digital health solutions in Brunei.
This role reports to our Senior Manager, Business Development, and will be based in Brunei Darussalam.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Business Development & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market research and monitor healthcare, AI, digital transformation, and technology trends relevant to Brunei and the wider region.
- Proactively identify business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and potential projects aligned with EVYD’s healthcare AI, digital health, and enterprise technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities, partnerships, and customer engagements.
- Identify customer pain points, operational challenges, and transformation priorities that can be addressed through EVYD’s solutions.
2. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Brunei’s healthcare and digital ecosystem, including government agencies, hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, insurers, IT partners, and innovation ecosystem stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for strategic customers, partners, and key accounts.
- Conduct regular engagement sessions with customers to understand business priorities, operational challenges, digital transformation initiatives, and AI adoption opportunities.
- Represent EVYD at meetings, ecosystem engagements, industry events, and strategic discussions.
3. Solution Development & Internal Collaboration
- Maintain close collaboration with product, AI, technical, project delivery, and leadership teams to stay aligned on product capabilities, technology developments, and solution roadmaps.
- Gather business and technical requirements and translate customer needs into solution opportunities, proposals, or project scopes.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop relevant healthcare AI and digital transformation solutions for target customers.
- Support solution positioning, value proposition development, and go-to-market initiatives.
4. Market Engagement & Opportunity Generation
- Leverage industry events, ecosystem engagements, stakeholder activities, partnerships, and networking channels to generate business and project opportunities.
- Support EVYD’s participation in healthcare, innovation, and technology initiatives to strengthen market presence and customer engagement.
- Identify strategic collaboration opportunities with ecosystem partners, healthcare organizations, and technology stakeholders.
5. Commercial & Tender Support
- Support the preparation of proposals, tender submissions, commercial documentation, presentations, and customer solution discussions.
- Participate in commercial negotiations, business case development, and opportunity qualification activities.
- Maintain accurate tracking of pipeline progress, account updates, stakeholder follow-ups, and opportunity development activities.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, market developments, healthcare digitalization trends, procurement opportunities, and regulatory developments relevant to Brunei.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support business strategy, solution development, and expansion planning.
What we're looking for:
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, account management, partnerships, consulting, or related roles.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and/or account management.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, health technology, IT, AI, enterprise technology, SaaS, or digital transformation sectors is preferred.
- Experience engaging with enterprise and/or government stakeholders will be highly advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of Brunei’s healthcare ecosystem, digital transformation landscape, and relevant stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth and partnership opportunities.
- Familiarity with AI solutions, digital health platforms, enterprise technology, or data-driven solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience in solution selling, consultative sales, tender response preparation, or proposal development.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand customer business needs and align them with appropriate technical or business solutions.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively alongside regional product and technical teams.
