Middle/Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Middle/Senior Business Analyst. You will lead our effort to link our information technology capacity and our business objectives. Your main goal will be to support and ensure the successful completion of the analysis, building, testing, and deployment tasks.

The health and fitness software and payment processing provider in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. Founded in 1981, they currently work with 7,000+ health clubs. Customer offerings include payment processing and gym management solutions that allow managers to track memberships and schedules and automate payment processing functions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of background in business analysis or a related field
• Data-related background: experience in Data Analysis and/or Reporting 
• Proficiency in reporting tools, data processing technologies, and data pipeline optimization
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure, Oracle, AWS) and Enterprise Data Warehousing
• Proficiency in creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Planning, organizational, time management, technical, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of complex requirements at all development stages: elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

Upper Intermediate+

Responsibilities

• Gather and write requirements for reporting projects
• Organize grooming calls with the development team
• Build and manage sprints based on prioritization
• Remove blockers for the development team (define the issue and determine appropriate action, schedule meetings with necessary stakeholders, etc.)
• Present at bi-weekly sprint demos
• Communicate with internal stakeholders (send release notes and prepare organization readiness materials)
• Document existing and new processes as needed
