Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java, Vue.js)

You will play a key role in building and scaling high-availability, distributed systems using Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and AWS. The project embraces a DevOps culture and a full-stack approach, offering opportunities to contribute across the stack. While the primary focus is on backend development, there's also room to grow your frontend skills by working with Vue.js to create intuitive, customer-facing interfaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on Java (Java Spring, Spring Boot)
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js
• Extensive expertise in cloud and backend technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Relational and non-relational databases
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable, loosely coupled, and maintainable microservices
• Proven track record of designing and developing end-to-end projects and collaborating effectively with global teams
• Willingness to work with frontend technologies

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Java reactive programming (Project Reactor, Mono)
• Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Previous working experience with Kafka, SQS, and SNS
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deploying applications
• Upgrading applications (Java Spring/Boot) to the latest version

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java (Spring, Spring Boot)
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature implementation — from architecture and development to deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and engineers, to deliver robust and maintainable solutions
• Contribute to developing frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js – opportunity to learn)
• Ensure system scalability, resilience, and compatibility in high-load, distributed environments
• Implement and support microservices-based architecture, leveraging AWS cloud services and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and automation, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization to ensure high code quality and system reliability
• Work within a DevOps-oriented culture, actively contributing to continuous improvement in development and operational practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for engineering best practices within the team
