Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Node.js/Nest.js)

About the Client  

You will work with a leading international cloud software provider in  corporate compliance and investor relations. The company helps thousands of companies worldwide cultivate trust by simplifying the complexities of compliance, investor relations, and transparent communication with stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Work on new feature development, expanding and improving existing functionality
• Perform code reviews, promote collaboration through documentation, and follow best practices
• Work both independently and in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Participate in planning sessions, contribute to architectural discussions, and suggest improvements
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across developed solutions
• Apply AI-driven approaches where relevant to automate workflows and enhance efficiency
• Work on the equipment provided by the client (MacBook Pro)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js/Nest.js
• Solid understanding of database design, performance tuning, and optimization (especially MySQL)
• Experience working with bug-tracking and issue management systems
  
  
• A pragmatic and results-oriented mindset, balancing process discipline with flexibility to achieve goals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

English level 

Upper-intermediate and higher
