Early Learning Academies is seeking a detail-oriented Subsidy Specialist to support our North Carolina schools. This is a hybrid role, with a primary work location at our Burton Park center in Jacksonville, NC, along with remote work flexibility.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the liaison between subsidy agencies and center directors
- Manage subsidized care accounts, billing, and claims submission
- Track attendance and ensure accurate reporting for reimbursement
- Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with North Carolina subsidy regulations
- Support centers with questions related to subsidy processes
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting support, or financial administration
- Experience with child care subsidy programs or government funding (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple sites, deadlines, and priorities
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills
- Self starter/ability to work independently
- BA Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
Pay Range
$17 - $20 USD

What It Takes to Join Us
- At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED
- EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
- Experience teaching young children
- A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
- Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements
