Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide strategic alignment across all exclusive and non-exclusive Excel Properties clients. This individual will have a strong background in partnership sales strategy, a familiarity with the sports and entertainment property/brand ecosystem, as well as experience developing highly detail-oriented prospect lists.
Additionally, this individual will serve as a project management lead and oversee the comprehensive onboarding of each of our clients. Serving as a central hub for internal and external key stakeholders, the ideal candidate will be poised, organized, and able to collaborate with individuals at all levels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively with sales executives, creative services, analytics, and other key departments to manage the onboarding and execution of each Properties client’s scope of work;
- Serve as the connection point across all internal and external workstreams, maximizing our speed to market, elevating our efficiency as a team, and
- Lead the development of each client’s Master Prospect List, alongside the sales lead;
- Research new brands, hooks, and rationales to increase sales momentum and grow revenue;
- Mentor and serve as counsel to all sales coordinators across the department as they build and refine each project’s prospecting strategy;
- Oversee and elevate the client onboarding experience for all Properties clients;
- Overcommunicate all needs/issues and proactively manage up to senior leadership;
- Manage and maintain all Properties opportunities in Salesforce, while offering strategic perspectives on potential system updates;
- Serve as a thought leader and resource on all requested reporting around brand conversations;
- Test and make recommendations for new tools and internal systems improvements to increase department efficiency;
- Support ongoing client meetings as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- At least 5+ years of direct, relevant work experience;
- Proven ability to be a project lead for multiple projects/clients simultaneously;
- Background in CRM system operations (specifically Salesforce);
- Experience managing individuals with the ability to inspire their growth and development is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Precise project management and organization skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly-collaborative environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple projects while being responsive to the needs of the division, prioritizing effectively as needed;
- Knowledge and understanding of sports and entertainment industries, as well as major brands spending across the landscape;
- History of working on successful sales teams in an operational capacity;
- Solutions oriented mindset with a knack for diplomacy;
- Self-motivated and self-directed;
- Positive outlook and culture builder;
- Highly responsive and accessible, with the flexibility to work nights and weekends if needed.
The pay range for this position is: $90,000- $110,00 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and sales incentive program.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
