ABOUT THE ROLE

ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking Systems Engineers at all experience levels to join our growing team supporting the design, modeling, and analysis of complex missile defense sensor systems. Our systems engineers define architectures, develop and deploy algorithms, evaluate performance, and help shape future system concepts for the U.S. Department of Defense customers.

Depending on your experience and interests, you may contribute to areas such as sensor algorithm development, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), mission and performance analysis, requirements development, test planning, and modeling and simulation (M&S). Engineers at all levels work collaboratively to define, design, and verify systems that operate across space, air, and ground domains.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform systems engineering, analysis, and design tasks for missiles and space defense missions
  • Evaluate and refine customer requirements to inform architecture and system design
  • Lead or support the development of system architectures, trade studies, and analyses
  • Develop, integrate, and test sensor detection, tracking, and object classification algorithms and architectures.
  • Develop and execute modeling and simulation tasks to support evaluation, verification, and performance assessments
  • Support or lead MBSE efforts using tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or DOORS
  • Prepare and present technical findings through briefings, reports, and documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical problems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Systems engineering requirements, design, test, and verification of software components
    • Sensor signal processing, tracking, or discrimination algorithm development, integration, and test
    • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML or similar approaches
    • Modeling and simulation (M&S) development or analysis
    • Sensor or system performance analysis
    • Test planning and evaluation for defense or space systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or analysis language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C, C++)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
  • 0–3 years of experience for entry-level, 4–8 for mid-level, or 8+ for senior-level candidates
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains:
    • Missile defense or space systems
    • EO/IR or RF sensors
    • Kill vehicles, interceptors, or countermeasures
  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or DOORS
  • Demonstrated experience leading trade studies, performance modeling, or data analysis

SALARY RANGE

$85,000 - $185,000+ annually.

Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
