Product Manager
As ExpressVPN’s product portfolio continues to expand, so does the complexity of bringing new products and features to market successfully. We’re looking for a Product Manager to own that process end-to-end — from defining what we build, to shaping how we position and launch it, to driving the internal execution that ensures launches succeed globally.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of product management, product marketing, and launch operations. You’ll own product areas the way ExpressVPN PMs do — embedded within product squads, accountable for customer and business outcomes — while also leading the positioning, narrative, and operational coordination required to turn completed features into impactful launches.
You’ll report to the Principal Product Marketing Manager and partner closely with teams across Engineering, Design, Growth Marketing, Customer Support, and Leadership across our global hubs including Singapore, Hong Kong, and London.
What You’ll Do
- Lead product discovery and execution for your product area, maintaining a prioritized backlog aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
- Own competitive and market intelligence for your domain — tracking competitor positioning, emerging trends, and adjacent products to inform roadmap and go-to-market decisions.
- Develop deep expertise in the products you own, including user experience flows, edge cases, customer pain points, and behavioral insights.
- Define product positioning, messaging, and launch narratives in partnership with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content teams.
- Drive cross-functional launch execution from planning through rollout, ensuring alignment across Product, Marketing, Support, Communications, and other internal stakeholders.
- Create and maintain launch documentation, training materials, talking points, and internal enablement resources to support successful product adoption.
- Track launch performance and product metrics, using insights and data to improve future releases and inform roadmap prioritization.
- Identify operational gaps and proactively drive clarity, alignment, and momentum across distributed teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Growth, or a closely related role within a digital or consumer technology company.
- Proven experience shipping products or features from concept to launch, with measurable customer or business impact.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience coordinating launches across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex launch processes, balance competing priorities, and proactively resolve execution gaps.
- Excellent written communication skills across multiple formats, including product requirements, positioning documents, internal updates, launch briefs, and customer-facing messaging.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make structured decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Self-starter mentality with a high sense of ownership and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer subscription products, cybersecurity, privacy, or SaaS.
- Familiarity with go-to-market strategy, product positioning, or integrated launch planning.
- Experience working across distributed or international teams.
