Senior FP&A Analyst - Finance Analytics

About the Role:
You will be part of our centralized Risk, Analytics and Data Science team, and play an essential role in the Financial Planning and Monitoring functionalities at Extend. You will have the opportunity to combine analytical rigor with strategic foresight and cross-functional collaboration. This role is crucial in maintaining financial health and fostering business growth for Extend. You will be at the forefront of Financial Planning, Revenue Forecasting, Strategic Review, etc., with a lot of cross-functional collaboration and leadership interactions. If you are a little bored of the traditional FPNA work and looking for something more exciting and challenging (eg. help build a new and fast-growing company), this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take ownership of modeling and forecasting key components of Extend’s financials (such as Sales Outlook, Cash Balances) to help financial planning and driving strategic changes.
- Work closely with CFO and other company leaders, cross-functional teams to understand different areas that impact revenue / financials of the organization and help with better forecasting / monitoring
- Build and maintain data architecture for financial and accounting input. Work closely with Data Engineering to make optimal use of available tools (DBT, Snowflake, JIRA, Github, etc).
- Lead efforts around financial data integrity through appropriate tools and governance.
What We’re Looking For:
- A curious, entrepreneurial Finance Analyst with plenty of grit, analytical prowess, creative thinking, and initiative
- 3+ years of work experience on Financial Reporting / FPNA. Tech/Fintech experience is a plus
- A solid understanding of corporate finance principles and accounting standards
- Bachelor's degree from a relevant major, Master’s degree is a plus
- Ability to communicate/present across the organization, especially to teams with less data & analytics experience
- Experience with SQL, capable of querying the data and perform financial modeling/analysis E2E
- Empathy and humility
Expected Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000 per year salaried*
