About the Role:

As a Data Analyst on our centralized Risk, Analytics, and Data Science team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the accuracy, integrity, and usability of financial data at Extend. You’ll take ownership of key data processes such as obligor reporting and financial reconciliations, working to streamline workflows and ensure alignment across systems and stakeholders. In this role, you'll work closely with Finance, Data Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to build reliable data pipelines, surface actionable insights, and improve our reporting infrastructure. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with plenty of room to expand your scope and take on high-visibility projects as the company scales. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with Finance and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing reporting and analytics workflows
  • Oversee and enhance reconciliation processes related to obligor reporting to ensure financial accuracy and alignment across systems and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain clear, insightful dashboards to track key financial and operational metrics
  • Build and enhance data pipelines and data architecture in partnership with Data Engineering, using tools like DBT, Snowflake, JIRA, GitHub, and more
  • Lead efforts to improve financial data integrity through appropriate tools and governance

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A curious Data Analyst with plenty of grit, analytical prowess, creative thinking, and initiative
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, ideally within tech or fintech environments
  • Strong foundational knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, with the ability to apply them in a business and data context; accounting or audit experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience querying large datasets and performing end-to-end financial analyses
  • Self-motivated and proactive, always seeking opportunities to drive meaningful work independently
  • A collaborative team player with empathy, humility, and a willingness to learn from others

Expected Pay Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per year salaried*

* The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
