The leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions, with headquarters in Chicago, enables the companies that build, insure, and replace vehicles to power the next generation of transportation. What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Javascript/Typescript, Postman, SoapUI, and JMeter
- Develop and execute automation for UI, API, integration, component, performance, load, regression, and data quality tests with comprehensive pipeline integration
- Build test suites leveraging non-UI automation such as SOAP/REST APIs, microservices, backend components, workflow processes, workflow automation steps, scheduled jobs, and data pipelines
- Develop automated performance and load testing solutions to validate reliability, capacity, scalability, and failover behavior of systems
- Analyze test results and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to triage issues and drive fast resolution
- Participate in testing pre-production and post-production releases, reviewing results, identifying risks, and approving deployments
- Leverage AI-assisted automation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Playwright Test Generator) to speed up test creation, data generation, and framework development
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation, Performance Testing, or Software Development
- Strong experience with Playwright
- UI testing (web applications)
- API testing (RESTful services)
- Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write complex SQL queries
- Ability to work effectively across teams including Development, Product, DevOps, and Architecture
- Designing and maintaining automated test suites
- Experience validating integrations and end‑to‑end flows
Nice to have
- CI/CD integration of automated tests
- Experience with performance or load testing
