About the Client  

A leading European home and living e-commerce company, redefining how product and supplier data is managed across the industry, working together with partner companies in a strategic purchasing group to build a new Product Data Onboarding Platform from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the development of robust, Tier-1 backend services using Go to power our brand-new Master Data Platform
• Take end-to-end responsibility for your work, from building the initial concept and RFC to implementation, testing, and monitoring
• Collaborate with Frontend teams to build high-efficiency APIs that ensure smooth integration across our entire ecosystem
• Utilize next-gen development practices; as a proficient AI user, you'll leverage tools like ClaudeCode/Codex to bypass the mundane and focus on complex architectural problems
• Write clean, testable code and foster a culture of excellence through technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

What You Bring

• 4+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang)
• 8+ years in general web development
• Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable services and APIs for complex web applications
• You are comfortable with cloud-based infrastructure (ideally Azure) and IaaC
• A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and actively contributes to shared goals

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading and supporting teams is considered a strong advantage in driving collaborative delivery and shared success
