Job Description:
As the People Operations Intern (Unpaid) at Extrity Services you will be instrumental in supporting the People and Culture team as it relates to human resources and talent acquisition functions. Your contribution will be pivotal in enhancing team performance, ensuring service excellence, and upholding Extrity Services' commitment to security and professionalism. You will gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle while helping build a best-in-class people function. Preference is for you to be on either Eastern or Central time. This position is 100% remote, and is an unpaid internship opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with drafting and posting job openings and conducting resume reviews and outreach to candidates.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain applicant tracking systems for smooth recruitment workflows.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including candidate follow-up and document collection.
- Help manage employee files and ensure documentation is kept organized, confidential, and compliant.
- Learn and assist with general HR inquiries such as leave, benefits, and employment verifications.
- Utilize HR tools like Rippling (HRIS) and Greenhouse (ATS) to streamline P&C processes.
- Learn and support compliance tracking related to employment laws and company policies under HR leadership.
- Contribute to employee engagement and wellness initiatives, including team-building activities.
- Answer calls and direct inquiries to appropriate P&C team members or provide basic assistance.
- Assist in tracking HR metrics related to employee retention, satisfaction, and engagement.
