SEO Senior Associate (Remote)

We’re looking for a creative, data-obsessed individual to join our Growth and Analytics Marketing team. As a SEO Senior Associate, you will help take our SEO capabilities to the next level. This includes providing support in execution on everything from keyword research to reporting to digging into the data to surface insights to guide SEO and inform the larger business priorities. This role will be starting at a pivotal time as we expand our marketing team and continue to grow our business with new customers. We’re looking for a marketer who is strong in technical SEO, comfortable diving deep into the data, excited to have a large role in growing SEO into a powerhouse for the business, who knows where to look to uncover insights and how to report out on them, and is a terrific communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain SEO guiding principles clearly and concisely, and able to support recommendations with data.
What You'll Do:
- Help set the short and long-term vision for SEO, helping to position us as the premier food for work platform.
- Help lead the development of SEO strategies for the marketing team, driving growth and an increase in demand via organic traffic as well.
- Partner with the content team to support organic content marketing and develop strategy, pivoting as needed.
- Develop and execute an SEO campaign including a plan for backlinks, new and existing content (onsite and blog), landing page testing, monthly reporting, and ongoing SEO audits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and analytics to monitor web analytics and customer data to identify areas of improvement and create initiatives to increase organic traffic.
- Create and maintain dashboards and metrics reports on activities and tests that measure and analyze impact, providing recommendations and a plan to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop recommendations for technical and cross-functional support and partnering with Marketing Ops to help to articulate key milestones, doing opportunity sizing where relevant in order to prioritize the work.
- Help manage agency and vendor relationships, giving input into priority setting during weekly/monthly meetings.
- Assist in the development of the marketing landing page strategy, working collaboratively with the design and development team to ensure the website meets customer needs and expectations.
- Keep abreast of latest SEO news (ex. AIO, Core updates), trends research, innovations, algorithm updates and competitor analysis and make continuous improvements on business strategy.
What You Have:
- 3-5+ years of deep experience in planning and executing successful SEO strategies as well as a strong background in technical SEO.
- A substantial understanding of technical SEO factors for large eCommerce sites, such as site architecture, discoverability, canonicalization and redirects, internal linking, schema, dynamic content, and site audits.
- Mastered the art of keyword research, topic clustering, and data mining.
- Proven track record of developing and executing SEO strategies and to improve traffic and conversions.
- Strong understanding of SEO tools like SEMRush, Google Search Console, Moz, web analytics and user research.
- Working knowledge of paid search and desire to work closely with paid search counterparts to develop holistic search strategies to maximize organic and paid contributions to the business bottom line.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems, familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience working with large data sets to create insights and actions.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to execute against plans. Ability to manage multiple projects based on priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $71,000 - $92,000 per year*
