Director, Network Health (Remote)

The Director, Network Health will define, measure, and continuously improve what a “healthy” ezCater supply network looks like. They will own the integrity, accuracy, and strategic optimization of the restaurant network, ensuring every listing on the platform meets our standards for quality, compliance, and conversion potential. This key leader will modernize how ezCater monitors supply quality, identify gaps in supply and category coverage, drive our merchandising efforts forward and strengthen customer trust while enabling scalable, data-driven growth.

What You'll Do: 

  • Define and own the standards that define a trustworthy, high-quality network, setting the bar for restaurant eligibility, accuracy, and representation across the marketplace.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts that span critical areas such as network policy and integrity, catalog health and supply & category optimization. 
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive network health map, quantifying supply strength and identifying gaps by cuisine, category, market, and suitability. Collaborate with Sales and Onboarding teams to direct acquisition efforts towards high-value supply gaps, customer requests, and strategic restaurant partners. 
  • Establish a proactive quality governance program that prevents low-quality or non-compliant listings from entering the marketplace, protecting customer trust and platform integrity. 
  • Maintain a tight operating partnership between the AGC, Compliance to stand up and strengthen our trust and safety protocols.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering & Analytics teams to elevate our merchandising efforts including strengthening catalog accuracy, depth of findability and supply optimization. 
  • Drive supply optimization initiatives (dietary coverage, packaging, photo quality, metadata completeness) to improve customer conversion and discoverability. 
  • Proactively detect and mitigate network risks (e.g. compliance, churn, dormant listings) before they impact customers. 
  • Build a culture of policy clarity, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring long-term platform health. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing and engaged team, fostering a data-driven, customer-obsessed culture.

What You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in marketplace operations, quality governance, or supply optimization; 5+ years in director-level leadership roles.
  • Proven success defining and enforcing marketplace standards or catalog health frameworks at scale.
  • Deep understanding of network optimization, supply-demand matching, and the operational frameworks and taxonomy design that enable effective merchandising. 
  • Adept at creating and enforcing policy frameworks that uphold customer trust and platform integrity while fostering empathy, collaboration, and sustained partner engagement. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. 
  • Exceptional communicator and strategic storyteller, skilled at influencing senior stakeholders through clear narratives and compelling written communication.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $217,000-$302,000*

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
