Content Marketing Associate (Remote)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Marketing Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and managing content that drives traffic, engagement, and leads for ezCater. You’ll collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to ensure our content is high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for search engines. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in updating and optimizing existing content to improve visibility and citations in large language models (LLMs). If you’re passionate about content marketing, have a knack for storytelling, and love diving into data to inform your work, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Content Creation & Editing:
- Write detailed briefs for agency and freelance writers to ensure alignment with our brand voice and goals.
- Edit copy from agencies and freelancers to maintain quality and consistency.
- Write and edit blog content for ezCater’s LunchRush blog, ensuring it’s engaging, informative, and optimized for SEO.
- Content Optimization for LLMs:
- Update and optimize existing content to improve visibility and citations in large language models (LLMs).
- Stay informed about the evolving landscape of LLMs and AI-generated content overviews, ensuring our content remains relevant and discoverable.
- SEO & Analytics:
- Leverage a strong working knowledge of SEO and GEO best practices to optimize all content.
- Use tools like BrightEdge, Google Analytics, Sigma, and Google Search Console to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce monthly reports on content performance using data platforms such as BrightEdge, Sigma, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
- Content Publishing & Design:
- Publish blog content on WordPress, ensuring proper formatting and functionality.
- Create graphics in Canva as needed to support blog posts and other content initiatives.
- Innovation & Best Practices:
- Stay up to date on the latest trends, tools, and innovations in content marketing, especially as they relate to LLMs and AI-generated content.
- Share learnings and insights with the team to continuously improve our content strategy.
What You Have:
- 1-2 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools like BrightEdge, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Experience with WordPress, Canva, and content management systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
- Familiarity with HubSpot and Sigma is a plus.
- Knowledge of LLMs and their impact on content visibility is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and creative approach to problem-solving.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $63,000 - $79,000 per year.*
*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
